The rescue of the trapped Chilean miners which is taking place in the desert of Atacama is hogging the headlines now.
The movie will tell the story of the 33 miners who got trapped underground and after a long and harrowing wait were rescued one by one. The academy award winning actor who scorched the screen with his blazing performance in ‘No Country For Old Men’ is going to play the protagonist in this movie.
The script of the movie will draw from the first hand account given by the rescued miners. It is too early to say anything on the cast of the movie and the actor has not said anything on his role so far.
There is no doubt that the theme is a captivating one and if the studio producers mange to rope in the right actors the film can turn into a blockbuster. Right now the media is watching whether all the miners make it back to the surface.
